When you are young, you experiment. This is how a child learns much of what they find out in their early years, and although as a parent you will be able to keep them from the more dangerous aspects of experimentation there is no way of stopping them doing a few things that will be a little bit destructive. Just think about what a child does when let loose with poster paint if you want an example. Kids will make mess, because it is fun.
As a result of this tendency to experiment, a child can do some real damage to the items that they are given with which to see them through their childhood. You can guarantee that as soon as your child is old enough and strong enough to balance, they will be doing things that can leave even a pretty sturdy crib needing reconstructive surgery. There is no reason that this needs to be a big deal, however. As long as you provide them with durable items, all that their experimentation will lead to is a little more knowledge.
An oak
convertible crib is one investment that will survive whatever any child has to throw at it. Made from the most durable wood, an oak convertible crib will take a lot of punishment and come back for more. There is no concern that it might harm a curious child, but equally there is no reason to worry that it might sustain any real damage itself.
